Taking the National Index to Chinese Newspapers and Periodicals(Philosophy and Social Science)in 1989-1999 as statistical source,this paper makes an statistical analysis on date issued,quantity,content,journal,authors,and subject distribution of the research articles,to primarily reveal the status of the research in university library function.
