Changes in East Asia Economic Framework and the Future Trends of Taiwan Economy

近年来，中国的经济外交思维和政策发生了革命性的变化，从置身事外转向作用其中，最重要的是中国与东盟达成在１０年内建成自由贸易区的协议。两岸入世后，形成了“一国四席”的新格局，在两岸“三通”问题未解决前，首先构建内地与港澳自由贸易区是当务之急。台湾最终要回归到中国版图内荧济的一体化。

Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation in 2000 and its Perspective with WTO Entry WTO accession for both China's Mainland and Taiwan will be a positive factor in bringing about the cooperation in the field of trade and investment in a complimentary way, anyhow, with the governing political issues remaining unsolved, there remain still many uncertainties in the cross-strai economic and trade relations and as a result, repercussions will happen. However, the economic integration of the two is the general trend and artificial barriers aiming at stopping it will prove futile.
