关于青年人才的全面发展,江泽民提出指导青年全面发展的“四个统一”的思想,倡导培养富于创新精神、创造能力的青年人才,要求青年应弘扬中华民族优秀传统文化,吸收世界各国文明成果和文化精华等。这不仅从内容上,而且从理论体系上都是对邓小平青年思想的继承、丰富与创新,将邓小平青年思想提升到了新的境界。

Jiang Zemin' s thought of a comprehensive growth of young talents is mainly represented as: putting forward the theory of 'four unifications' to direct the comprehensive development of young talents; advocating the cultivation of those young talents with their creative spirit and inventive ability; demanding youth to inherit Chinese essential culture while absorbing the essential cultural outcomes of every country in the world and so on. This thought has inherited Deng Xiaoping' s theory of youth work not only in content but also in theoretical system. The thought can also be seen to enrich and improve Deng's youth theory and has promoted it to a new level.
