本文揭示了Q分析法是研究同一集合或两个不同集合元素之间的关系类型的一种结构语言。Q分析法的理论根源是集合论和仪数拓扑学,主要功能是实现研究对象的自然聚类;其主要特点是启发思维,与各学科理论指导结合运用,使复杂问题形成多角度关联,自然分类使之结构化。运用Q分析法于图书情报学领域,将填补其空白点,使情报计量方法体系得以发展充实。

This paper indicates that Q analytical method is a structural language to study the relational kind between elements of one set and of two different sets. The theoretical source of Q analytical method is set theory and algebraical topology; its main function is to implement the natural cluster of research objects; its main characteristics is to inspire thought and to combine with theoretical deduction of each discipline, getting the difficult problem to form natural class of multi-aspect relation and getting it into formulization,to use Q analytical method in library and information science, it will full the gap, lest the system of information measurement method developing substantially.
