China Entrancing WTO and Policy Reform for Agricultural Science and Technology

履行 WTO协议将使我国农村经济发展面临的内部机制和外部环境发生重大变化 ,从而对我国的农业科技体系提出新的要求。为了应对入世的挑战并抓住新的发展机遇 ,农业科技研究和推广机构必须转变自身的运行机制 。

Implementation of China's WTO commitments will result in a fundamental change in inner mechanism and external environment of rural economic development, which also generates new requirements to agricultural science and technology system. To cope with the challenges and seize the new opportunities, agricultural research and extension institutions need to push forward reform in their operating mechanism, government also need to take effort to improve conditions for development of agricultural science and technology.
