通过封闭性光生物反应器和开放式薄层生物反应器相结合的培养技术已经被成功用于雨生红球藻的商业化生产。雨生红球藻中富含的虾青素有重要的生理功能,其抗氧化活性比维生素E高500倍。美国食品及药物管理局指出,人体每天摄入250mg雨生红球藻干粉是绝对安全的。
A technology combining both closed photobioreactors and open folium bioreactors has been developed and is being successfully used to commercially produce the green microalga Haematococcus pluvialis.The alga Haematococcus pluvitalis can produce large amount of astaxanthin,which has important biological activities.The antioxidant activities of astaxanthin have been shown to be over 500times greater than vitamin E.The U.S.Food and Drug Administration has suggested that it is safe for human to eat 250mg /day of the dry alga Haematococcus pluvialis.
