The author refers to a paper entitled 'Establishment of a mathematical model for the quality-based method of apportionment of heat and electricity produced by a cogeneration plant and the relevant correction method'. In this connection an analysis was conducted of the thermal balance of heat and electricity of a cogeneration plant by using the quality-based method of apportionment. Such an analysis has further demonstrated the accuracy and rationality of the quality-based method of apportionment.
