The paper introduces the type SL-II joint coating machine's structure, technical properties and application of joint internal coating in Chengdao Offshore natural gas gathering pipeline. The machine has the video camera observing function, the effective rust removing and the welding internal joint coating. The construction quality with this machine for steel pipeline welding internal joint is stable and reliable. Compared with other joint internal coating methods, the mentioned technique has simple process, convenient operation and less working cost.
