摘要
对 GIS电子地图中书写方向不定的文字标注 ,提出了一种自动水平矫正识别算法 .它可以自动计算出各文字标注水平角度 ,是以汉字中水平笔画和垂直笔画出现频率最高这一特征为依据的 .矫正书写方向成为水平方向 .最终使其成为完全可由现有 OCR软件识别的形式 .所给出的算法已在实际 GIS项目中得到成功应用 .
For the recognition of characters in electronic maps, this paper presents a skew correction algorithm, which can automatically get the angle of each character block with horizon and rectify it, if its written direction is not horizontal. The algorithm depends on one special characteristics of the Chinese character. Horizontal stroke and vertical stroke are the strokes most frenquently appearing in Chinese characters. The algorithm has been successfully used in GIS projects.
