The research findings on Ni P alloy plating in the nearest decades are summarized in this article.The advance on Ni P alloy plating research is reflected comprehensively in the article. It includes that how to select the substrate and the plating solution component.and histology and performance of the plating,the effect of thermal processing on the plating,the mechanism of corrosion resistance,and the mechanism of the reaction and so on.The ternary compusite plaling developed in recent years is also introducted.The development direction of studying on Ni P alloy plating is pointed out.
