“Red Pavilion Dream” is A Work of Warning About the “Ｄream” of the “Red Pavilion Dream”

《红楼梦》“梦”字取义虚幻，比喻人生若梦，并寓有醒梦、警梦即醒世、警世之意。《好了歌》是醒世歌，《红楼梦》寓有劝惩之意，书中虚幻人物的设计和谋篇布局也都体现了警世主旨。《红楼梦》的主题既非政治主题，也非爱情主题，它的主旨是警世，《红楼梦》是警世书。

The paperis mainly written about the “dream” of the “Red Pavilion Dream”. This paper combines the ideology of the author's life and the content of the work to analyze the word “dream” which meant illusory and to compare life as dream. Waking up from dream and warning the dream contain the meaning of waking up from the life and warning the life. “The song of goodness” is the song of warning life. The work “Red Pavilion Dream” contains the deeper meaning of encouragement and punishment. The designation and the development of the story both embody the gist of warning. The author believes that the theme of “Red Pavilion Dream” is about neither the politics nor the loving, but the warning of the life. Therefore , we can say that the work “Red Pavilion Dream” is the work talking of warning life.
