评费耶阿本德的多元方法论——析《反对方法》

Comment on Feyerabent's Plurality Methdology——Analyse "Against Method

当代美国科学哲学家费耶阿本德在《反对方法》一书中提出了多元方法论 ,指出 :科学在本质上是无政府主义的事业 ,科学方法是多元的 ;理论多元论有利于科学发展 ,理论一元论是没有道理的。费耶阿本德强调分析特殊性、强调理论增生包含一定的积极内容 ,但他否定普遍性 ,把迷信与科学等量齐观 。

Feyerabemd, modern American philosopher of science, put plurality methodology in 'Against Method'. He pointed out: Science is anarchy enterprise in essence, scientific method is plural; pluralism of theory favours the development of sciece, monism of theory is irrational; rationality and irrationality are not universally effective in science; chauvinism of science shut out unscientific things, which is adverce to development of science. Chauvinism of science run counter to humanism. Feyerabend lay stress on analysing particularity and on growth of theory, against chauvinism of science. These include certain active content. But he denies universality, identifies superstition with sciece, depreciates role of science. These are wrong and harmful.
