社区是整体社会不可分割的一部分 ,是大社会结构转化到人们之间的桥梁。但很长时间以来 ,国内有关社区的研究似乎停滞了。改革开放之后 ,随着经济发展、社会转型 ,社区服务乃至社区建设才重新被人们所重视。本文在界定社区概念 ,阐述其社会作用和基本特征的基础上 。

Community is and inseparable part of the whole society,also the bridge for the transformation from the whole society to people.But for quite a long time,the domestic research on community seems to have stopped.Since the reform and opening-up,with the development of economy and changes in the social structure,community service and construction have again drawn People's attention.based on the definition of community and exposition of social effects,this essay elaborates on the relation between political development and community construction as well.
