This paper further explores the theme of the 'code heroes' created by Ernest Hemingway, and points out that the main strength of the 'code heroes' comes from the integration of their physical, spiritual, psychological and social qualities, qualities that form their very identity. The paper also fully reveals the noble quality of the 'code heroes' through analysing Hemingway's writing career.
