This paper introduces the exploitation,designing and application of the fault diagnosis expert system for generator in Waigaoqiao Power Plant.The major points of this paper are the introduction of the fault features of generator,the making and realizing the physical model,the functions of the software,the system designing and the self-learning mechanism of expert system.The paper also introduces the running status of expert system in Waigaoqiao Power Plant.
