A Study and Examination of the Object of Mathematics from the angle of Qulitative and Quantitative Analysis

从定性定量研究的需要出发，探讨了质和量的规定性、定性研究和定量研究的特点，介绍了恩格斯关于数学的对象的论断，关于数学的对象的一些新的提法以及从定性和定量研究的角度对这些提法的评价。结论是：数学的对象依然如恩格斯所指出的，是现实世界的空间形式和量的关系。

Abstract:For the purpose of meeting the needs of qualitative and quantitative research, this paper makes an approach to the determi-nant of quality and quantity as well as the characteristics of qualitative and quantitative research, and makes an introduction of the in-frerence from the object of mathematics drawn by Engels, some new formulations on the object of mathematics and some correspondingevaluation to these new formulations from the angle of qualitative and quantitative research. A conclusion is drawn that the object ofmathematics, as Engels pointed out, is still the space form of the real world and the relationship between quantities.
