摘要
首先介绍地理信息系统 (GIS)的涵义、特点、应用领域、发展历程及面临时势 ,接着分析了GIS与遥感技术、全球定位系统、专家系统、虚拟现实、因特网技术、空间分析技术和制图技术的结合现状及结合潜力 ,最后提出GIS必须与相关技术结合方能拓宽其研究领域 。
The article firstly presents the implication and characteristics of Geographic Information System, applied fields, developing course and faced situation. Secondly it analyses the current situation and potentiality of GIS and RS, GPS, ES, VR, Internet, SA and mapping technique. In the end, it puts forward that GIS has to combine with related techniques and widen its fields, the integration of various techniques can produce powerful borderline effect.
