摘要
从语源学角度打破汉字字形的束缚，并且结合所指对象的特征，方可知道概念命名的意义．本文考释了汉语蚌蛤类命名理据５例，它们都是普通民间名称．
Why bang is called bang? And why bei is called bei? The meaning exists in the sound of a word. The char-acter forms in Chinese should be broken to seek for the naming motivation from sound. 5 common folk mussels naming motivation are researched in the Paper.
