3-dimensional Control of Transgene Expression

摘要 人类基因组草图及拟南芥菜和其它模式生物基因组全序列的公布极大地推动了基因组学研究的发展 ,也为生物的品种改良及产量和品质的提高奠定了基础。如何对天文量数据进行信息化处理 ,并将所得信息转入功能、应用研究是我们面对的新问题。我们将细胞特异性表达启动子与可诱导系统相结合 ,建立起可用于植物转基因表达时、空、量三维调控的基因开关系统 ,为功能基因组研究及通过基因工程技术对植物代谢实施精确调控提供了全新的思路。 This paper tried to introduce the new thinking about controlling gene expression in transgenic plant by gene switch system. The system not only can be used to manipulate the target gene restricted to specific tissues, the expression level and expression period of transgene can be also fine-tuned, which allows us to express the target gene in both tissue specific and inducible manners. It will be the powerful tool in functional genetic studies.
