Through discussing the regularity of rigidity and hydro-power stability following the changing size of the generator set,the characteristic of vibration stability problem for the large and gi- gantic hydro-turbine generator set has been discussed. Understanding these characteristic will be help- ful to prevent or curtail the occurrance of vibration stability problem on large hydro-turbine set.
