纵隔镜仍是纵隔疾病诊断和治疗的重要手术方法之一 ;在其半个多世纪的发展历程中经历了探索、成熟和提高三个阶段。我国的纵隔镜技术虽起步尚早 ,但由于历史的原因发展很慢 ,目前仍滞后于发达国家。

As an important measure for the diagnosis and treatment of mediastinal diseases, mediastinoscopy has a history of over half a century, undergoing 3 stages in its course of development, namely, exploration, mature and improvement. In China, due to historical restrain, though this technique started quite early, yet it lags far behind the advanced level of the world now.
