A new type of mixing cell model was developed to calculate the distillation efficiencies when liquid entrainment occurred for the column at total reflux,with vapor completely mixed between trays and liquid partially mixed on the tray.The results were in good agreement with those solutions given by Colburn and Lockett et al.
