Reasons for the inactivation of Pd/C catalyst and its solving methods are reviewed according to the theory of PTA hydrogenant reaction.The Controlling of process parameters,operation and quality of raw material are the main factors which affect the activity of Pd/C catalyst.It is showed that the longevity of Pd/C catalyst can be regenerated and prolonged by stabilizing the operation of reactor,changing the pipes and unit corroded seriously, raising the height of protective bed and washing the reactor bed with alkali solution.
