This paper introduces how to design a program on the 32-bit Windows plate-form to control the infusion pump rate. The software is written by Visual C++ 6.0, which is based on multithread technique and API communication function, to realize the real-time calculation and to control the infusion pump rate with the serial port communication techniques.
