摘要
用铀系法测定骨化石样品,对周口店第一地点年代做了进一步研究。数据表明,1—3层的年代比目前的有些提法要早一些。二层下部和四层的年代分别为27万年和30万年左右,出自H地点三层上部的V号头盖骨年代约为29万年。
Fossil bone and tooth samples from Zhoukoudian Loc. 1 were dated with uranium series dating. The data show that the ages of lower part of second and fourth layers were about 270 and 300 ka respectively. The age of V skull excavated from the third layer, Locus H, should be about 290 ka.
