The structure of Channel 16 microcontroller unit for dual processor terminal controllers (DPTC) and its working principle are described in the paper.In the microcontroller, functions of the common microcontroller are reduced and some new functions for communication circuits, such as channel calculating and interface automation, are added.Clocked dynamic CMOS is used for the whole circuit, so the area and the power consumption are very small.Simulation by Verilog XL of Cadence is performed and anticipated results are achieved
