Implement CEUR Project to Lay Foundation for Dali's Education in the New Century

“贫困地区义务教育工程”是中国教育事业的一项重大工程,该项目在大理白族自治州共涉及十个贫困县的98个乡镇。从1998年工程启动实施以来,项目工程取得了阶段性的成果,本文从五个方面对大理州的此项工程实施情况进行了分析阐述。

Compulsory Education in Underdeveloped Regions (CEUR) is a principal project in China's education endeavor. It involves 98 townships in 10 underdeveloped counties of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Started in 1998, the project has scored achievements for the first phase. The article gives an analysis of the project in five respects.
