摘要
中世纪欧洲最重要的战争原因是领土、霸权／征服和争夺权力等问题。近代早期，除领土和霸权／征服问题外，宗教问题也成为欧洲最重要的战争原因。主权时代，欧洲最重要的战争原因是领土问题和商业／航海问题。革命与民族主义时代，由于民族主义的兴起，民族问题成为欧洲最重要的战争原因。20世纪欧洲最重要的战争原因是维护政权自主生存和民族问题。
In the middle Ages,the most important causes of European wars are the issues about territory,hegemony／conquest and political p ower and so on.In the Early Modern Age,besides the issues about religion are the most important causes of European wars,too.In the Age of Sovereignty,the main ca uses of European wars are the issues about territory and commerce／navigation.In the Age of Revaluation and Nationalism,with the rising of Nationalism the issue s about nation became the most important causes of European wars.In the 20th Cen tury,the most important causes of European wars are the issues about the surviva l of regime and the issues about nation.
