The total flavonoid content in Chinensis leaves and Chinensis tea is determined by alcohol extraction and column chromatography colorimetric.It is demonstrated that the total flavonoid in Chinensis leaves is 3.98%.The flavonoid amount in Chinensis tea is different under different soaked time.The total flavonoid amount is largest when Chinensis tea is soaked by boiled water for 20 minutes.
