本文分析了当前石英玻璃原料存在的问题，指出矿物特征研究是提高石英玻璃原料质量的必要途径，并探索了硅石矿中的水和包裹体对石英玻璃的影响。

The problems on the raw material of quartz glass are analyzed in this aritcle. In order to improve the quality of raw material, the study on mineral's property of silica is necessary,especially, the water and inclusions, which produce the hydroxyl and bubbles of quartz g1ass.
