近些年来 ,广东第三产业的发展趋缓 ,在一定程度上没能为广东经济高速持续增长拓开空间。广东第三产业的发展裹足不前主要有四个原因。要促进广东经济增长 ,必须优化发展第三产业 ,要从制度、环境方面为第三产业的发展提供保障 ,把教育、租赁业作为发展第三产业的新的经济增长点 ,充分利用珠江三角洲的地缘、人缘优势 ,加快提高三角洲区内的社会服务业水平和档次。

In recent years, the development of the tertiary industry of Guangdong has failed to open up space for the ever lasting high growth of Guangdong economy. Four main factors due to which Guangdong economy does not make its forward steps are presented. It is insisted that, to advance the growth of Guangdong economy, the internal structure of the tertiary industry should be optimized. A case in point is that education and rent are promoted to be new sources of economic growth. Also, institution and social environment have a duty to sustain the development of tertiary industry. The Pearl River Delta, the economic center of Guangdong, has a chance to play an important role in enhancing the development of tertiary industry, provided that it gives full play to its advantages in territory and popularity.
