白居易闲适诗中搏动着一颗“知足”之心。诗人常以不足为满足,与不如己者比,故能知足,甚且知愧。“兼济”之志是其“知足”、“知愧”心积极方面的根源;官场生活的教训、天命论以及佛、老思想的影响,是其“知足”心消极方面的根源。

There was contented spirit in BAI Ju-yi's carefree poems.The poet always built his contentment by comparing with those less prlvileged.Comgaring with them,he would be content,even be ashamed.The succour aspiration was the positive source of his “contented”and “ashamed” spirit,yet the passive source came from the experience of his official life and the in fluence of Buddhism Laozi's ideology.
