本文从现代讲学技术状况和科学事实出发,对地质灾害的特点、致灾因素、发生发展规律、成因机制及测报、防治等内容进行了综合和探索性研究,提出并建立了新的慨念系统和科学体系——地质灾害学,目的在于揭示和解决有关地质灾害的自然和社会方面的一系列问题。

Based on the modern scientific technique and facts, the synthetic and explorative studies on characteristics, calamitous factor, occuring law, forming mechanism, forecast and prevention and cure of geologicl hazard are carried out, and the new concept and science system——geological hazardy is proposed. The subject reveals and solves a chain of natural and social problems about geological hazard.
