丙烯酸丁酯与醋酸乙烯酯乳液共聚合及其产物表征

EMULSION COPOLYMERISATION OF BUTYL ACRYLATE-VINYL ACETATE AND ITS POLYMER CHARACTERIZATION

摘要 本文采用一步法乳液共聚合,对丙烯酸丁酯(BA)与醋酸乙烯酯(VA)乳液自由基共聚合反应机理进行了研究,论证了BA—VA类竞聚率相差较大的单体用一步法进行乳液共聚合时,不能得到组成一致的共聚物,随着反应进行,共聚物组成变化很大。根据最终产物玻璃化转变温度(Tg)的测定结果,计算出早期形成的共聚物的组成,并指出水相聚合是VA在反应初期参与共聚合的主要因素。 The mechanism of free radical copolymerisation of Butyl Acrylate(BA) and Vinyl Acetate(VA) was investigated by batch emulsion copolymerisation in this paper. The results proved that the homogeneous copolymer could not be obtained from the comonomers whose reactivity ratios are largely different as BA and VA, and the copolymer's composition was changed during polymerisation. On the basis of the results of glass transition temperature(Tg) of the final polymer, the composition of the copolymer formed in the early stage was calculated, this was explained by aqueous homogeneous nucleation theory.
