New progress in breeding rice genic male sterile lines by using ecological stress method

摘要 根据福建省稻作生态和两系稻制种、繁殖的需求 ,选择不同海拔 (8m、 12 0 m、 32 0 m、 5 2 0 m、 730 m和 80 8m)、不同纬度 (18°N和 2 6°N)构建选育水稻核不育系的生态压力试验点。对引进核不育系、杂交后代和高世代材料进行加压、分离、选择、鉴定。逐代多年多点压力筛选 ,已取得成效。 (1)初步评价了培矮 6 4 S、安湘S、W6 111S、明光 34S、FJS- 1和 FJS- 2等核不育系的育性变化、利用价值和确定了适宜的繁殖制种区域 ;(2 )进一步育成了 SE2 1S等光补型核不育系 ,压缩了制种风险 ,应用于大面积制种 ;(3)育成了 118S、32 2 S、919S和 VNS,其不育性能更好 ,取得水稻核不育系选育新进展。 Based on Fujian ecological condition for rice culture and the requirements of seed production and GMS multiplication for two\|line hybrid rice, different altitude (8 m?120 m?320 m?520 m?730 m and 808 m) and latitude(18° N and 26° N) sites were selected as ecological stress trails for breeding genic male sterile(GMS) lines. Introduced GMS line,crossing progenies, advanced generations were put into different ecological sites for stress segregation,selection and identification. Stress screenings were conducted by years and sites and achieved the target goals. (1)The GMS lines,such as Peiai64S,Anxiang S, W6111S, Mingguang 34S,FJS\|1 and FJS\|2 have been preliminary evaluated for their fertility/sterility reversion, utilization value, and identified the suitable sites for seed production.(2)GMS possessing photo\|compensation ability, such as SE21S, had been popularized in conventional production. (3)Newly developed GMS lines, such as 118S, 322S, 919S and VNS, were designed to improve both yield potential and fine grain quality for the created two\|line hybrids. These promising GMS lines could be used to confirm the progress of ecological stress method for GMS breeding.
