摘要
１８８５年至１８９１年是首任台湾巡抚刘铭传抚台时期，此间，刘铭传大力兴办近代化事业，农业开发是台湾近代化事业的重要组成部分。本文从农业开发的三大政策、农业开发项目的实施及历史意义等方面，对台湾近代农业开发作一评述。
From 1885 to 1891 ,Taiwan was under the administration of its fir st governor,Liu Mingchuan.During that period,Liu gave eaergetic support to modern agriculture,an important component of Taiwan's modernization.This paper is a brief review of mordern agricultural development in Taiwan,in particular,the three major policies,the implementation of agricultural development projects and its historical significance.
