This paper gives a systematic and thorough discussion on effects of the instrumental errors, i. e. systematic errors involved in instrument manufacture and adjustment of gyro-theodolite GAK-1 on the gyro orientation. Discussion is also made on the property and magnitude of various errors as well as the implication of instrumental constants.
