All-optical Wavelength Conversion Based on Four-wave Mixing in Semiconductor Optical Amplifier

摘要 利用自行研制的半导体光放大器实现了 140Mbit/s和 2 .5Gbit/s的四波混频型全光波长转换 ,在频率失谐达 3 .75THz时仍观察到了四波混频波长转换现象 .研究了转换效率与频率失谐之间的关系 ,结果表明转换效率随频率失谐增大而急剧降低 。 Based on the fabricated SOA, 140?Mbit/s and 2.5?Gbit/s FWM wavelength conversion are achieved, even if the frequency detuning is higher than 3.75?THz. Experimental study on conversion efficiency versus frequency detuning is also carried out, and the results show that conversion efficiency will decrease rapidly with the frequency detuning increase, and conversion efficiency in wavelength up conversion is lower than that in wavelength down conversion.
