Using the hydrolysate of Ti(OC 4H 9) 4 as pillared agent, titanium-pillared clay with mean pore diameter 1.5?nm pore, was prepared by ion-exchange procedure. The mean diameter of pore is 1.5 ?nm for the titanium-pillared clay. The materials were characterized by powder X-ray diffration (XRD), differential thermal analyses(DTA) and N 2 adsorption/desorption analyses.
