几种中英文农业电子期刊的应用比较分析

Analysis on Use and Comparison of Some Agricultural Electronic Periodicals on CD-ROMs

论述了《中文科技期刊数据库》、《中国学术期刊 (光盘版 )》SilverPlatter公司出版发行的CABABSTRACTS 3种农业电子期刊的特点 ,从信息服务部门提供服务的角度出发 ,例举对 3种电子期刊的学科覆盖、出版时差等方面进行了比较分析 。

The paper gives analysis and comparison of typical Chinese and English electronical periodicals on CD-ROMs in conjunction with the two year experience in providing Chinces and English electronic periodicals reading service to the users in the Multifunctional Electronic Reading Room of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Scences. Emphasis is put on the features of the Chinese Science & Technology Periodicals Databases and Chinese Academic Journals and CAB ABSTRACTS. From the point of view of providing service by the library to the users, an overall review is presented for three publications in the respects of their subject area covering information quantity etc. Some suggestions are put forward, too.
