Breeding of Trachemys scripta elegans

目的 :通过红耳龟人工养殖技术的研究 ,促进红耳龟人工养殖的开展 .方法 :在本校爬行动物养殖场对红耳龟的生物学特性、养殖技术及病害防治进行了研究 .结果 :红耳龟的产卵高峰期为 6月下旬和 7月上旬 ,每只雌龟每年产 1～ 2窝卵 ,窝卵量平均为 12枚 .卵的受精率为91.67%,孵化率为 85 .71%.常见的疾病有背腹甲畸形、腐皮病、疖疮病和水霉病 .结论 :红耳龟是适合推广养殖的优良品种 .

Aim:By means of the studies of manpower breeding technique of Trachemys scripta elegans,to accelerate the expansion manpower breed aquatics of Trachemys scripta elegans. Methods:The biological characteristic, breeding technique, disease prevention and treatment of Trachemys scripta elegans were studied in our reptile breeding site. Results:The fastigium of oviposition is in the last ten days of June and the first ten days of July. The female lays 1 to 2 clutches of eggs per annum, each clutch consisting of 12 eggs in average. The fertilizition rate is 91.67% and the hatching rate is 85.71%. Abnormal carapace and plastron, decayed skin disease, furuncle disease and water mildew were found to be the familiar diseases. Conclusion:Trachemys scripta elegans is a choiceness species that fits manpower breed aquatics.
