Summarizing Research on a Non-flood Water Regulation System for Area below the Sanmenxia Dam on the Yellow River

黄河三门峡以下非汛期水量调度系统是利用外资开展的研究项目 ,其目的是为了提高非汛期黄河水量在中下游的合理配置。通过灌区的需水研究、径流预报模型研究、水量调度模型研究和决策支持系统研究 ,开发了三门峡以下非汛期水量调度决策支持系统。经检验计算成果合理 ,并受到水利部验收委员会专家的高度评价。

The internationally-financed project is to more reasonably distribute the non-flood period water in the middle and Lower Yellow River. A supporting policy-making system for non-flood water regulation below the Sanmenxia dam has been established after researching on water demand in the irrigation areas, runoff predication models, water regulation models and supporting system for policy-making. It has been verified and favorably remarked by the evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources of China.
