摘要
观察了不同剂量VitE对实验性高胆固醇膳食家兔血清LCAT活性、脂类和脂蛋白水平的影响。结果表明,VitE能升高实验兔血清LCAT活性;降低血清总胆固醇和甘油三酯及(LDL+VLDL)-C水平,大剂量VitE的作用更为明显。VitE升高HDL-C的效应与剂量关系不大。表明VitE能通过改善脂类代谢影响动脉粥样硬化的进展。
This study showed that serum lecithin-cholesterol acyltran-
sferase(LCAT)activity and the concentration of lipids in rabbit serum were
affacted by different doses of Vit E in the rabbits diet.The activity of serum
LCAT and the serum concentrations of total cholesterol(T-C)and total tri-
glyceride(TG)were increased when the rabbits were fed a high cholesterol
diet.Adding Vit E to this diet further elevated the high lipids serum LCAT
activity and the levels of HDL-cholesterol(HDL-C).Large doses of Vit E
in the diet redistributed cholesterol in serum lipoproteins from LDL and VLDL
to HDL,significantly lowering the T-C and TG concentrations,as well as
the T-C/HDL-C ratio.
Hence,Vit E has a significant role to play in improving the metabo-
lism of lipids,and the treatment and prevention of atherosclerotic
diseases.
