Thoughts upon libraries with characteristics of Northern Shaanxi

“以用定藏”是图书馆建设的基本原则 ,陕北独特的物产资源与旅游资源、独特的文化艺术 ,以及作为革命老区的独特的政治传统 ,使建立陕北特色图书馆成为开发和发展陕北的前提和基础 ,而陕北特色图书馆建设必须跟上时代的发展走数据化的道路。

The author tries to establish the idea of 'book collcetion according to need' as the principle of expanding libraries with characteristics of Northern Shaanxi.The unique natural resources,tourism resources,folk arts and political heritage of the old liberated revolutionary area provide a prerequisite and basis for the development of libraries with characteristics of Northern Shaanxi;meanwhile,however,they must keep abreast of the digitalization of the time for their further development.
