聚合酶链反应对单纯疱疹病毒性脑炎的早期诊断价值

The Value of Polymerase Chain Reaction Assay in the Early Diagnosis of Herpes Simplex Encephalitis

目的 :探讨聚合酶链反应 (PCR)技术对单纯疱疹病毒性脑炎 (HSE)的早期诊断价值。方法 :应用PCR技术检测 2 2例HSE患者和 179例非HSE病人脑脊液中的HSV -Ⅰ、HSV -Ⅱ核酸。结果 :2 2例HSE病例组HSV -Ⅰ阳性 15例 ,HSV -Ⅱ阳性 2例 ,179例非HSE对照组HSV -Ⅰ阳性 10例。PCR技术检测CSF中HSV -Ⅰ、Ⅱ核酸诊断HSE的灵敏度为 77 3%、特异度为 94 4%。结论 :PCR技术对HSE患者CSF中HSV -Ⅰ。

Obuective:To study the value of polymerase chain reaction(PCR)for the early diagnosis of herpes simplex encephalitis(HSE).Methods:Using PCR to detect HSV Ⅰ and HSV,ⅡDNA in the cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)in 22 cases having HSE and 179 cases non HSE patients.Results:Fifteen CSF samples were positive in HSV Ⅰ and two were positive in HSV Ⅱ in 22 HSE patients,ten CSF samples were positive in HSV Ⅰ in 179 cases of non HSV patients.The rate of sensitivity was 77 3% and the specificity was 94 4%.Conclusions:PCR was a rapid,sensitive and specific method for the early diagnosis of HSE.
