Interpreted from the origin of artistic conception, KUANG Zhou yi's thought on Ci studies inherited traditional artistic philosophy about change of the universe, therefore, establishing the expressionism of his Ci stylistics. Personality of the traditional art of mutual complement of Confucian and Daoism, as well as reconciliation between the rich and the poor balanced the prose writer's ambition and temperament, and the traditional educational function of poetry and depiction of mind and nature enriched his artistic theory. Strong traditional artistic conception runs like a thread all through Kuang Zhouyi's thought on Ci studies.
