In this paper how to establish a back propagation neural network model for vinyl acetate synthesis reactor, how to ascertain the related parameters are introduced in detail. In addition, a learning algorithm for BP neural network based on levenbergmarquart algorithm is also proposed. It has been shown that artificial neural network approach is very effective, while some processes have not been understood clearly or the exact models are very difficult to establish.
