摘要
根据大学英语教学的特点和客观实际,针对国内外有关外语教学交际法、传统法和折中法等三种教学法,提出了当前大学英语教学应采用以传统法为主、交际法为辅的综合教学法的建议,走分级教学的路子,优先发展学生的阅读能力,以促进他们听、说、写、译能力的全面发展。
On the basis of the features and real conditions of college English teaching, in accordance with communicative approach, traditional approach and eclectic approach in foreign language teaching at home and abroad,this paper proposes that the best methodology to be adopted in current college English teaching should be relying mainly on traditional approach while making communicative approach subsidiary. It also proposes that we should practise teaching according to students' English levels and give priority to the improvement of students' reading competence in order to improve their competence in listening, speaking, writing and translating.
