摘要
借职制度是明代卫所武官世袭制度的重要内容之一。其初始目的在于填补武官袭替过程中所出现的武职空缺 ,最终是为了保障武官世袭的延续。借职发生的条件在明代前期与中、后期有很大的变化。从大量的明代档案“武职选簿”中有关借职的实例看 。
The heir substituting system was an important part of the inheriting system of garrison officers in the Ming Dynasty. The preliminary motive for this system was to make up for the vacancy in the course of military officer inheritance so as to guarantee the continuation of the inheriting system. However, the conditions for the substituion for the heir underwent radical changes in the Pre , Mid , and Post Ming Dynasty. A great number of realistic examples of substituting the heir recorded in the official file 'the Book of Selecting the Heir Candidates for Military Positions' in the Ming Dynasty showed considerable differences between the heir substituting system and practical implementation.
