COM技术与 GIS结合而产生的组件式 GIS使 GIS软件开发发展到了一个全新的阶段 .本文以 ESRI公司最新推出的 ARC/INFO 8为软件平台 ,应用其提供的 COM对象库——Arc Object,结合江苏省综合省情地理信息系统的研制 ,阐述在 Arc Object下 COMGIS的二次开发方式及实现过程 .

The integration of COM technique and GIS updates the GIS software to a new phase--COMGIS, which has lots of advantages than the softwares developed before. Applying the ESRI's COM object library-ArcObject, this paper describes the method to develop geographical information system of the general circumstances of Jiangsu Province,which is based on Arc/Info 8.
